I was recently up in Bath Maine with my husband for our 1 year anniversary. We stayed at a really nice B&B whose most loved guest was this amazing dog Lupi. He was so good-natured, and playful - it was a joy to photograph him.

I just recently bought a new camera - a Canon 5D Mark II - and two new lenses. My new macro is amazing - and helped me take these stunning photos of my Cousin's baby Ellie. She is such a happy baby - I hope that when it's my turn to have children they have as much joy and excitement as this little one.
On a different note my computer had been acting up - so yesterday I decided to do a photo dump onto our wireless external hard drive. I'm not even kidding it took from 10:00 a.m. till about 11:00 p.m., and then to erase the images off the computer took another few hours! I need to get better about putting the images onto the hard drive immediately and just working off of that - but woah what a long day yesterday. It made looking at my new photos today that much more special! Happy Friday everyone!

Grandpa

It has been a very stressful few weeks working for my grandfather Putnam. I have called 911 twice and brought him to the hospital myself once. He is a really amazing guy - but he is slowing down a bit and it's scary. I know that he will die, and I am honestly at peace with that - even if I have no idea when, he is almost 92 years old and has lived an amazing life. I posted this photo because Forbes, my husband, is one strong force in my life, who helps keep me sane most of the time. I wanted to say that I feel really lucky. I don't usually get super personal with my posts, but it has been so difficult for me lately, that I just don't know what I would do without him. Thank-you hun, you are appreciated.

Andrew and Cricket

My friends Andrew and Cricket got married this weekend up in Vermont. It was a beautiful wedding - I really liked that they walked down the isle together. Forbes and I had a wonderful time, and the weather could not have been better. Isn't her dress a dream in that sunlight?
