I have been working on a series of portraits of family and friends that connect to my Jewish identity. I submitted those photos to Mobius for the Prisms Chanukah Festival December 1st through the 8th, and I am happy to report that I have been accepted to show my photos. The opening is on December 1st, at Mobius from 6 to 10 p.m.
I also have been busy working on a series of new constructed realities. The inspiration came from a recent call for work at 119 Gallery in Lowell MA based on the idea of secrets, and what your art hides. In all of my constructed realities there are undertones to each image that are my own secrets, so I enjoyed making this new reality based on just that.
